Establishing the Penal Colony
Age 481
- A penal colony is established in Valley of Mines. Thanks to the slave labor of convicts, the City of Khorinis flourishes.
Under the Magic Barrier
Age 491
- A magical Barrier is created that covers the entire Valley of Mines.
- Prisoners using the mass confusion in king's guard, rebel and take over the Castle.
- Convicts, now free to roam the Valley, establish the 'Convict Camp' in and around the Castle.
Age 493
- Fire and Water mages residing in the Castle, after realizing they see their situation differently, separate. Using this opportunity, part of the convicts leave with the Water Mages to the west, and establish the 'New Camp' in the mountains.
- Original Convict Camp is now titled 'Old Camp', for widely agreed upon convenience.
Age 496
- The Sect Camp is established on the eastern coast in the swamps.
After releasing the prisoners
Age 499
- The Barrier in the Valley of Mines is dispelled.
- All of the remaining convicts run away, chaos ensues, magic storms demolish the Valley.
