History
Born in one of the kingdom's cities he was challenged various times when people doubted or looked down on him. Despite this, and from the teachings of his father, he tried every time to stand his ground and sometimes not wavering in opening his mouth in asserting himself. He worked the fields of the nearby farm, even getting himself into some sticky situations with field raiders but thanks to the scythe he carried he lived another day to tell this story. This shaped him into the man in the following years.
He figured out he can't let others go through the same harsh challenges he went through so he is eager to help others he finds in needing and worthy of his helping hand, sometimes even talking smack to those against the person in need. What can he say, that big mouth got to his head too much and sometimes he can't keep it shut. Based on this, during one of the days when he was tasked to run the marketplace in the city he couldn't keep his mouth shut about the prices and how the merchants are stealing from the poor hard working people. That is when he slipped some words against King Rhobar along the lines of sitting like a cow in the field eating grass and shitting all day instead of protecting his people, landing him in the famous mining colony on the island of Khorinis.
Here, he quickly befriended quickly some of the diggers, examples as Joker and Larry (now Yrral), and of course 'befriended' one of the more famous shadows, some say his arch nemesis in the colony, Regan. During a commotion not so long after his arrival, Reliops got himself in the arena alongside multiple diggers that were accused of assaulting Regan earlier (but in fact Reliops was just a bystander and was caught in the crossfire). Knowing that the colony is tough, and never forgetting who he actually is he didn't stray from his firm attitude and flipped the shadow Regan after he cut his palm to satisfy his sadistic tendencies. In response to this, Regan cut his middle finger. In a shocking plot twist Reliops didn't hesitate and flipped the shadow with his remaining middle finger catching Reko by surprise and being impressed by how the newcomer didn't flinch. risking a lot by showing so much courage. Of course the idiot got his remaining middle finger cut. From that night he is known in the colony as Reliops 8 fingers.
Time has past, his fingers didn't grow back (he is not a lizard what the heck) but his mouth and attitude has remained the same. Came to the aid of shadows despite his hatred of them from that night but they still treat him like a piece of shit. Although he has a slight chance of rising the ranks of diggers he refuses to become a shadow feeling he would betray himself even though he has friends that were diggers in their ranks. Regan has mysteriously disappeared while a suspicion in the camp arised about a rebellion plotting his murder. He was questioned by one of the Guards what he knows. Answering the Guards questions in his specific manner, the Guard felt he was telling the truth and thanked him for his precious information granting Reliops an unusual reward, a small number of scrolls that he started studying remembering his father's previous teachings.
In the present, Reliops is grinding the mines in order to satisfy Gomez' magic ore needs while pocketing some small amounts for himself (as every person in the colony does) just to be able to share a beer with his friends from time to time. Despite his limitation currently, not being able to have the strong grip he had with all of this fingers he cannot wield heavy weapons or swords and hit with the same impact he resorted to a scythe he found laying outside the castle, abd a crossbow he procured from Fisk, saving ore for a long time to be able to afford it. He resides most of the time in the overseer quarter thinking how he can rise the ranks or if there's a possibility to get his fingers back, although he loses that hope by each day.
