History

She was born in the Eastern Archipelago in the year the orc invasion of Myrtana was repulsed. Her parents, staring at the prospect of a better life, spent their savings to follow traders and nobles to the island of Khorinis, where they became simple farmers, enjoying life. One day, their farm was invaded by a certain Wyrne the Bald, a member of a mysterious order from the Eastern Archipelago. The enforcer killed the girl's father for reasons the girl never knew. Polly's mother was mortally wounded protecting her daughters. Wyrne was unable to kill the child, so he restrained the girl and took her to his hideout in the city, where he starved her and hid her in a large closet from guards who might learn that he had murdered farmers. One day Feradan arrived at the city's port, hunting members of the Order who were scattered around the island of Khorinis. He met Wyrne the Bald in an inn, and just as he was about to attack him, Wyrne fled, and against Feradan stood the port thugs hired by Bald. The tracker easily dealt with the aggressors and set off in pursuit of Wyrne. He caught up with him in his own hiding place and killed him in front of Polly, whom, on his way out, he managed to hear and set her free. Feradan told his mysterious accomplice about the witness to the murder (Polly), to which his employer reacted angrily, ordering him to kill the girl. The next day, Feradan again met with his principal and lied to him that he had killed Polly, when in fact he had sheltered and fed her.
