History
Long before joining Greg’s infamous pirate crew, Dwayne was once an honorable man. Growing up in farmer’s family Dwayne had somewhat peaceful childhood. He quickly became his father’s apprentice whom he viewed as his role model – always strong, caring and honorable. As the time went on the war with the orcs waged upon the land and took it’s toll on farmers. Rhobar II needed resources, such as ore, wheat and wood, and started taking it from farmers like Dwayne and his father. That’s where Dwayne’s story practically begins.
Dwayne became more and more furious with king’s unfulfillable demands and started to develop inner, lately turning to unbearable, hate towards the royal army, paladins and even the king himself. His father tried to calm him down multiple times, always telling him to keep focusing on family and their needs. That’s where their conflict began – Dwayne started to feel that his father is actually scared to do something for his family, such as turning against paying the toll, and confronted him about being a coward. The clash resulted in Dwayne leaving his home in Myrtana and his family and lead him to a new life – that of a vagabond.
Dwayne took any work he could to finance his needs – he helped during the harvests, for a short time became a lumberjack and the list could go on for milennias. During this time he started to like two things – gold and rum. A perfect combination for a pirate captain Greg, whom he met during one of Greg’s raids. Dwayne, in purpose of saving his on life, offered Greg his services. Greg saw the potential in Dwayne and took him to his crew. Under Henry’s watch, Dwayne became somewhat skilled in fighting and quickly took on the new life as a pirate. He incorporated himself well and became trusted among the crew and even Greg himself. The crew often utilised Dwayne as a spy or a scout – he arrived to land before his crew to observe and gather information about certain things. Dwayne took on his new role well, he was able to finesse his way through the city’s guards on multiple occassions, until one day where he drank himself numb and got caught.
The crew was supposed to do another raid on the local port. Dwayne spent his first day in the city observing the situation as usual. This time a prostitute came across him in the streets and he couldn’t resist the temptation she presented. He got to a tavern, drank himself, slept with her and then made riot in the streets. The guards caught him, noticing he is a pirate, and imprisoned him.
It all went quickly from there – prison -> trial -> judgement -> transport to Khorinis and finally his start as a convict in local valley, by many called „The Colony“ under a magical barrier. He is planning on making his way through local ranks and getting the hell out of Colony as soon as he can.
