Creation

  • Unknown Entity is birthed from Chaos. He splits into three brothers - Adanos, Innos and Beliar.
  • Adanos, retaining most of the power, conceives the Universe with four elements (Earth, Water, Fire and Air), gifting Innos with the Power of Light and Beliar with the Power of Dark.
  • Adanos births the first creatures of this world, giving them life.
  • The creatures shaped the world, but eventually turned on one another resulting in a devastating war.
  • Adanos ashamed of his creation and upset by the destruction, seals the creatures all around the world, deep underground, never able to force himself to completely banish them.
  • Innos begs his brother to create new creatures - Adanos reluctantly agrees, but Innos is the one who gives them life.
  • The creatures prosper in the world, learn and evolve quickly, with smaller disputes happening occasionally but never on grander scale.

  • ??? - First settlements of the Ancient People under the guidance of Innos.
  • ??? - Haran Ho, warrior of the Ancients, leaves Innos and joins the Nomads. Adanos grants him the power of magic. Orcs rule the green plains of the Central Lands in primitive, tribal societies.
  • ??? - Assassins sent by the Ancients kill Haran Ho. Nomads steal the body and bury it in a tomb.
  • ??? - Under pressure from the Ancients, the Nomads scatter around the world. Within a few centuries, they would eventually reach the Southern Archipelago, Khorinis, and the Eastern Archipelago beyond it.
  • ??? - Ancient People build a portal by Innos' demand.
  • ??? - Beliar is enraged by Innos' inclinations and the Beast rises from the ground, "and with it other powerful beings."
  • ??? - Adanos sends a flood upon the region; since then Varant becomes a barren desert. Some of the Nomads, go on their way to Jharkendar. Over time and under the influence of refugees after the Varantian Flood, Orcs spread around the world.
  • ??? - Akascha reaches Nordmar and founds the Fire Clan. Orcs dominate the main part of the Isle of Khorinis. They are divided into clans and live in tribal communities - the increasing numbers result in numerous local wars. The Orcs also dominate the Central Lands without major threats, which makes their development relatively slow.

Human Age

  • -200 - Uriziel, the warrior of the Builders, dies fighting the Orcs on Khorinis. The Builders limit their interest to the Jharkendar Valley.
  • -198 - Five Orc Shamans summon the Sleeper to dominate opposing clans.
  • -188 - Completion of the Sleeper's Temple. It's builders and priests are cursed, and the Sleeper falls into a thousand-year sleep.

  • -172 - Nomads wandering the green lands of Myrtana adapt over time to their surroundings and gradually become Forest Runners under the leadership of Druids.
  • -168 - The fights in Jharkendar are endless. The Builders are slowly dying out, and their torment is ended by the flood sent by Adanos.
  • 1 - Rhobar the Holy kills the Beast. He witnesses the Revelation of Innos.
  • 2 - Division of the Innos church.
  • 4 - Rhobar the Holy campaigns into the Heartlands.
  • 12 - Caste of Healers' refugees from Jharkendar scatter across Khorinis as the orc clans, weakened by war, pose less of a threat.
  • 23 - A significant part of the orcs are driven from the Myrtana north, beyond the Nordmar's mountain chain. Some of them remain in the west. The challenge of wars with humans will be the main driver of development in the coming centuries.
  • 35 - The Monastery of Fire is established in Nordmar.
  • 41 - Rhobar the Holy drives the orcs out of the north-east and establishes his kingdom there. Vengard and Gotha become the first human cities in the region.
  • 56 - The population of Builder's survivors gradually abandons the area of the pyramids and moves to the more promising seaside settlement of Khorinis. Some of them also settle in Valley of Mines.
  • 100 - Lord Dominique leads a crusade to the Southern Archipelago. He conquers them and tries, rather unsuccessfully, to convert them.
  • 109 - Rhobar the First dies. His kingdom soon splits into districts and factions.
