Having just gotten up from his bed, he noticed that the sun was already overhead on the horizon. Getting up at such an hour was a strange custom among locals, as most had already begun preparing for their work since dawn. Thus, upon stepping out into the fresh air, he was not surprised by the piles of eyes staring at him. He ignored them, however, and tried to enjoy the moment. A gentle breeze blew carelessly, moving the spikes of plants gently, causing the onlookers to smile. Despite all this, he did not dream of becoming a peasant. More - his main point of interest became the military, and he enjoyed watching the army's exercises. They were usually held every so often to impart some degree of knowledge about the use of weapons, in the event of a foreign invasion.

I don't know how much longer I will last here. What I'm doing now definitely doesn't suit me. Holding some sort of makeshift sword in my hands, I tried to inflict some damage on the puppet. The only thing I managed to do was to snatch my shirt - which was supposed to imitate an opponent on a standing bale of wood. Quite an interesting activity, in a break after gathering a pile of vegetables. Heading for some sense, however, I think I can handle weapons a little better. However, this is nothing, compared to a moderately skilled one-armed knight. I decided to collect some gold to buy better training equipment. Fearing further complaints from my parents, I decided to stuff the material with straw, which was a better idea than tearing my clothes. Since I used quite a lot of ink, I decided to end here. The next entry will probably appear when I get some gold for something to write on.
