He turned pirate-hunter himself, but he is also hunted now by surviving members of his ex-crew. He came to Khorinis after a clue lead him to Babs and the reward for his head. Apparently, arriving too late, he chose to stay, mostly to lose his own pursuers but also to check on the new opportunities opened by the recent coup on the city. He had lost his eye to Babs himself.
