== Personality ==
An intelligent and analytical man. He despises people who have power, but pursues it himself to help the weak. He constantly pursues his chosen goal, learns quickly and always finds a way out of a situation. He is distinguished by his secrecy, says little about himself and what he thinks. He easily succumbs to his emotions, which started after he hit the Barrier. Many people are afraid of him because of his strength and behavior, and even more people treat him with contempt and like a nut.

== Abilities ==
Many years of experience have allowed Arkhan to train himself to be an amazing fighter. He is an expert in hand-to-hand combat and with white weapons. He is not a very good strategist, and age has made him not as alert as he should be.

== History ==
The man's past is unknown. No one knows how long he was in the Colony, what he ended up here for, nor does anyone question his position as Captain of the Guard. The oldest inmates say that "the Captain has always been here" without thinking too much about it. Only to a few people did he reveal the secret, telling about himself....
Arkhan Qualshy was a traveler. A refugee from his country, who found a certain scarlet ring during his expeditions. He didn't know anything about it, nor did he feel any change when he put it on - well, except maybe for tantrums and lack of control over his actions - but he couldn't take it off, or rather, he didn't want to. It wasn't long before he finally found his way to the Continent and from there he fled the war to Khorinis. When he heard about the sending of prisoners to the Minerva Valley and the tightening of laws, knowing his uninteresting case due to the ring, he left the city and lived as a hunter in the forests, so he could study in peace . After some time, he learned about the formation of the magical Barrier, which encouraged him to approach the pass and see the prison with his own eyes. Curious about the new adventure, he went through the Barrier.
